He was the first to play drum'n'bass in Chengdu back in 2001 as a resident DJ in the Highfly Cafe. He left Chengdu after several months in 2002 to come back in 2003 and started playing and promoting dnb again in dozens locations throughout the city. During one of his nights he met Robert (American VJ Aquarius) and together they started platypusmusic.cn to promote underground art and music events in Chengdu in 2004. In Summer 2004 he initiated the Electronic lounge drum'n'bass and idm] and then in May 2005 together with VJ Aquarius, DJ Fat Face and Darkness founded BASS in your FACE - Chengdu's biggest underground party of electronic music. Along with German Pascal d. Bohr DJ JOE organized Chengdu's first and only exhibition of German and Italian avantgarde comic art in Chengdu in March 2005 Graphic Dialect Another bigger single event he promoted was Play together with Wang Lei.
